What a year 2013 has been for us here at Alamo City Moms Blog!  We had no idea what to expect when we launched this little project of ours back in July.  Since then, we’ve talked about all things San Antonio: great parks, bakeries, kid-friendly restaurants, school choices, and the best places to meet Santa.  Our contributors have shared personal mommy moments ranging from surprises in motherhood, becoming a mom of twobringing home a newborn, and infertility to tips from the Booby Whisperer and coping with NICU stays.  We discussed the traveling while breastfeeding, taking great family pictures, helping your children eat more vegetables, and the San Antonio tradition of holiday tamales.  We laughed about the joy of a trip to Target and hating Christmas music.  We had the opportunity to meet some of you at our play groups or at our very first Moms Night Out.  We love being part of the San Antonio community and thank you for taking this journey along with us!

Our contributors will be taking a two week break to spend some time with friends and families in honor of the holiday season.  We’ll be featuring a few guest posts after the new year and will resume with regular content from our team on January 6.  We wish you all the best for a relaxing, peaceful, and joyous holiday.  See you in 2014!
