We had so much fun with our Alamo City’s Amazing Mom contest that we decided we want to honor our local Dads, too! How many times have you been so thankful for your child’s father, or noticed another dad that has really stepped up to the plate to be a true Super Dad? Here’s your chance to honor him- right in time for Father’s Day!
Announcing Alamo City’s SUPER DAD Contest!
Details: We will be accepting submissions for Alamo City’s Super Dad now through Friday, June 6th. We are looking for a local dad that stands out among the crowd – whether it’s an impact he’s making in the lives of his children or others, an impact on the San Antonio community, an example he is setting for other dads or just an outstanding job in his role as a father, we want to honor a Super Dad in San Antonio! It might be your husband, your father, your neighbor, your grandfather, your colleague, your child’s teacher or even yourself, but we want to hear about the dads that inspire you! Nominations will also be accepted from moms, grandmas, grandpas, friends, and kids themselves. Or, if you feel deserving of such an honor (and we know you are), emailing this post to your wife or kids as a gentle nudge is totally acceptable (and even encouraged!).

Please limit submissions to 500 words or less.
Submissions will be accepted through Friday, June 6th at noon.
The Alamo City Moms Blog team will determine finalists who will be featured on Alamo City Moms Blog June 9–13. On June 13th, voting will open up to the public and will run through Sunday, June 15th at noon. The Super Dad with the most votes will be named Alamo City’s Super Dad! The winner will be announced on the blog and on social media on Monday, June 16th.
Not only will our winner be crowned Alamo City’s Super Dad, but he will also win an amazing prize package! Our Super Dad’s prize package includes:
