Is there a better time in San Antonio than spring? We are celebrating one of our favorite times of year with an event for the entire family!
Alamo City Moms Blog and University Health System are bringing ¡Primavera!, San Antonio’s Spring Family Event to the San Antonio Botanical Garden on Sunday, April 12 from 3:00–5:00 P.M.
Food, fun, games, and entertainment will be offered to families and kids of all ages. Our favorite local sitting service, Time Out Sitters, will be joining us with crafts for the kids. We are also pleased to welcome our event partners that will each offer fun and games available for our attendees: BASIS San Antonio, Whimsy Art Studio, the San Antonio Zoo, IDEA Public Schools, Amazing Baby 3D Ultrasound, Kelly Kits, Bear Audio Visual and more. We’ll also have a special appearance by Miss Anastasia of The Twig Book Shop and The Storytime Chicks, a superhero visit from Party Pals SA, and a visit from everyone’s favorite ice queen!
Fabulous bites will be offered from Annie’s Petite Treats.
Through this event we are proud to support Green Spaces Alliance, whose mission is to sustain the natural environment and enhance urban spaces through land conservation, community engagement, and education. Attendees who bring donations for this local not-for-profit will receive additional entries into our giveaways. Donation requests include: organic fertilizer, organic insecticides, bagged compost, bluebonnet seeds, citrus fruit trees, and seed starting trays/sets.

Adults are $10 and children are $7, and tickets do include access to the San Antonio Botanical Garden during the event. A portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated back to the San Antonio Botanical Garden to further its mission of inspiring people to connect with the plant world and understand the importance of plants in our lives. Tickets are limited, and we encourage you to purchase quickly! Note: SABOT members will need to purchase tickets to attend ¡Primavera!
