Celebrating Spring at ¡Primavera! with Alamo City Moms Blog

It might have been a rainy weekend, but Alamo City Moms Blog and University Health System weren’t going to let a little rain and thunder ruin our fun! A huge thank you to the attendees and businesses who joined us for our very first family event, ¡Primavera!

With the rain clouds looming, our venue partner, San Antonio Botanical Garden, kicked in to help us relocate our event last minute. And we found the perfect spot, just a few feet away from the San Antonio Botanical Garden at the San Antonio Garden Center. With over 350 attendees, more than 25 activities and interactive tables, and special guests, a fun time was had by all!

University Health System gave away bike helmets from their health and safety department, conducted asthma screening tests, and checked for scoliosis. They also provided us with a top-notch first aid team, and their pediatric ambulance was on site for tours.

Our favorite local sitting service, Time Out Sitters, provided pots for kids to decorate and beans to plant and take home to grow. What a fun interactive table!

A big thank you to our Silver Level sponsor, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and a special thanks to our table vendors who provided amazing crafts and activities for our attendees. These included Amazing Baby 3D Ultra Sound, Stone Oak & Dominion Pediatric Dentistry, Whimsy Art Studio, BASIS San Antonio, Kelly Kits, San Antonio Zoo, and IDEA Public Schools.
