ACMB had a ball at Main Event!

Alamo City Moms Blog is happy to partner with Main Event (West San Antonio) to bring you information on their birthday party services, summer camps, and entertainment attractions for all ages.

A few weeks ago, some of the ACMB team members and I were treated to an evening of bowling, pizza, and laser tag at Main Event on the northwest side of town. It was pretty cool escaping for the evening, especially during a very hectic May. Even better was finding out some of our members are quite seasoned bowlers, and we didn’t hold back our game faces during the laser tag session. It reminded me how fun Main Event is for adults and kids alike.

That’s why Main Event is on my summer list of places to beat the heat with the kids. If you’ve never been, Main Event is a state-of-the-art entertainment destination that includes bowling, laser tag, gravity ropes, a video gaming center, billiards, a full bar, two restaurants, and private party rooms. You’ll find all of this in an ambiance of neon lights, upbeat music, and flat-screen TVs, making it a vibrant, fun atmosphere for the whole family.

During the summer months, Main Event opens up at 9:00 A.M. for families wanting to take advantage of the Summer Passes. A Summer Pass allows you to play all day for a starting rate of $12.95 per person. Passes must be purchased by 10:30 A.M. the day you attend, and there are several options to choose from depending on how long you want to stay. That’s a pretty sweet deal, considering you have access to all the attractions.

Main Event also offers summer camps. Their camp is open to ages 8–15 and runs from 8:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on weekdays. You have the option to send your child by the day or the week at the very affordable rate of $29.99/day or $124.95/week. At Main Event’s summer camp kids will learn the fundamentals of bowling and participate in bowling contests and laser tag battles, plus play interactive video games. Lunch, a camp t-shirt, and a certification of completion are all included in the price, too!

Birthday parties, corporate events, and group celebrations like project graduations or end-of-season sports parties have never been easier. At Main Event, you basically bring the guests and they take care of the rest. With multiple private rooms and dining areas to choose from, groups of just about any size can be accommodated. Your kiddos will thank you for it.

Did I mention the menu? We devoured a couple of deep dish pizzas during our outing, but I’ve also tried the burgers and huge salads. All have been delicious! Plus, their full bar and signature cocktails ensure parents can have a little treat for taking the kids to such a fun place. Everybody wins!

From bowling to billiards, laser tag to gravity ropes, plus a huge gaming area, there truly is something for everyone at Main Event!

Eat. Bowl. Play.

San Antonio has two Main Event locations: San Antonio North at 1911 N. Loop 1604 East and San Antonio West at 8514 State Hwy 151.
