A Letter of Gratitude

Dear Alamo City Moms Blog Readers,

I am grateful, truly grateful. When Lindsay and I launched Alamo City Moms Blog 15 months ago, we had this little dream of building a community right here in San Antonio. We thought this project of starting a “moms blog” would be fun, but little did we know what the response would be.

We have poured our hearts and souls into Alamo City Moms Blog, spent countless hours working into the wee hours of the night to make sure every detail is perfect, planned and talked and thought about how we can make this site one that is worth your precious time, and might have even shed blood, sweat, and tears in the process. We love hearing how Alamo City Moms Blog has become a support system for you, a resource for you as a parent, a group of moms that you can identify with, and an avenue for you to connect with other moms locally. We are inspired when we hear that you trust us as a reliable voice and that you look to us when you need information about our city, the journey of motherhood, or just a smile.

And the communities that surround Alamo City Moms Blog—wow! From the moms we meet both online and at our events, to the incredible community of our contributor team and that of the sister site owners around the country, I have been encouraged, uplifted, and found friendships that will last a lifetime. Community is something that isn’t easy to come by, but we see it growing through our site, and it’s enough to give us chills. We hope you understand what you are doing for us. You—yes, YOU, dear readers—are making us stronger women, better moms, prouder San Antonians, and very appreciative small business owners.

I want to take a moment to let you know how much we appreciate you. Alamo City Moms Blog would be nothing without the San Antonio parents that have held our hands and kept coming back to our Web site and events time and time again.

I look forward to the years ahead and what is to come, but for now, please know what you mean to us and the impact you are making with your support.

With sincere gratitude,
