On February 11, Alamo City Moms Blog joined Waxing The City Stone Oak to celebrate its grand opening! Women from across San Antonio came together to welcome this new, locally owned and mom-operated business into our city. And Waxing The City did not disappoint.
This exclusive studio offers head-to-toe services for both men and women. Technicians use two different types of wax: a hard wax for the face and more sensitive areas of the body, creating a less painful removal, and a traditional soft wax for larger body areas like legs and arms. Attendees were treated to complimentary facial waxings and walked away hair-free and happy.
The entire process was so smooth, and my wax lady (not sure of her official title) was fabulous and thorough! She took her time and made sure I was pleased with the end result! I loved the entire experience from start to finish!

The event was fun, and I kid not, the best wax I have ever received. I’ll be going back.

You know it’s good when you call a waxing appointment wonderful. The blue wax, coupled with their technique of waxing small areas at a time (as opposed to a few big strips), makes all the difference in the world. By far the best wax I’ve had since [I lived in] New York, and probably on par with my NY experiences. I, for one, am thrilled [Waxing The City San Antonio] has opened. Leslie was my technician, and she is great. Made me feel very comfortable both physically and personally.

Along with the services of Waxing The City, guests munched on delicious treats from Stone Oak’s Kneaders Bakery & Cafe. Holy goodness, those pastries and sandwiches were good! Austin Cocktails was on hand pouring their fabulous new drinks: vodka cocktails made from ingredients like mint, basil, fresh fruit juices, and organic agave nectar.
If you missed out on this fun night, be sure to book your appointment today (and just in time for Spring Break and summer, which are just around the corner)! New clients receive 50% off their first treatment.
Welcome to San Antonio, Waxing The City!!!
