Kids Countdown, Sunday, December 31st, 10:00 A.M.–1:00 P.M. at The DoSeum—Hey, party animals! Roar into 2018 with an awesome safari theme that will feature the classic ball drop at noon, a fun scavenger hunt that will have your littles feeling like true explorers, face painting artists, music, and so much more! This event sells out, so don’t delay and purchase your tickets today. Tickets are $12 and go on sale Friday, November 17.

Celebrate 2018 On the Lanes on New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day, Sunday, December 31st and Monday, January 1st, 10:30 A.M.–6:00 P.M. and 4:00–8:00 P.M. at Bowlmor Lanes locations—Daytime family party package includes two hours of unlimited bowling with shoes included, kid-friendly buffet, sparkling cider, and champagne toasts (for guests 21 and over). New Year’s Eve Celebration, Sunday, December 31st, 12:00–10:00 P.M. at Six Flags Fiesta Texas—The joy of Holiday in the Park doesn’t end after Christmas. You can still catch “My Christmas Card to You” in Rockville High or the contemporary carolers the Tinseltones. At 10:00 P.M., the entire sky will be illuminated with colorful bursts choreographed to musical favorites and capped by a memorable finale featuring an exciting new version of “Auld Lang Syne.” Pick the date you’ll visit and save up to $15 when you buy tickets online at least one day before your trip. General admission tickets start at $62.99 each (with discount); free admission for children two and under. 

2018 Family New Year’s Eve Event, Sunday, December 31st, 4:00–7:00 P.M. at Dave & Buster’s (Crossroads & Rivercenter locations)—Packages to help you eat, drink, play, party, and ring in the New Year! All packages include a buffet, soft drinks, and a Power Card® to play in the Million Dollar Midway, packed to the rafters with games and simulators. Package options include unlimited video game play and all-you-can-play fun on non-redemption games. Family Package tickets are $35.91–44.73 (Crossroads) and $34.03–43.10 (Commerce) each.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve!, Sunday, December 31st, 4:00 P.M.–12:00 A.M. at Hemisfair—The Tricentennial Commission, the City of San Antonio, and Bexar County are proud to host the 2018 New Year’s Eve Celebration, the kick-off of San Antonio’s 300th birthday celebration. San Antonio’s biggest birthday is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Concert lineup features an array of musical genres for all ages. Starting at 4:00 P.M., families will enjoy free admission to the festival grounds that will feature interactive art, games, music, and live theatrical performances. A wide array of food and drink options await grown-up party-goers. FREE!

¡Feliz Año Nuevo! Celebration, Sunday, December 31st, 7:00 P.M.–1:00 A.M. at Hilton San Antonio Airport—Presented by the Association of Puerto Ricans in San Antonio (APRISA). Una despedida de Año Puerto Rican style para toda la comunidad Latina! APRISA invites San Antonio to ring in the new year among family and friends, with great food, a champagne toast, and live music by Orquesta Tropicante. Tickets must be purchased online. Adults: $60, children (4–12) $30, reserved table $650.

Local New Year’s Eve Party, Sunday, December 31st, 9:00 P.M.–1:00 A.M. at Embassy Suites—Skip the traffic and chaos downtown for this family-friendly party to ring in 2018 with DJ Cee-Jay. Champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight. 

New Year’s Eve Celebration, Sunday, December 31st, 10:00 A.M.–1:00 A.M. at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa—for resort guests only! Resort guests that stay over on New Year’s Eve will enjoy a fun-filled celebration to ring in the new year. There’s something for everyone, including: Family Fun Room with fun games and activities all day long and into the night, including a bounce house, arts and crafts, tailgate games, ping pong tables, arcade games, a movie, and more.
