July 4th Fest at Six Flags Fiesta Texas—Present a can of any Coca-Cola® product along with a park admission or season pass, and you’ll receive exclusive early access to select rides one hour before the park opens, from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. each day. Enjoy the daily fireworks display in the evenings. Event is included with park admission.
June 30–July 8
Freedom Fest, 12:00–7:00 P.M. at Historic Market Square—Market Square’s 4th of July Celebration is a week long. Live music and entertainment throughout the market on different stages each day. Enjoy delicious food, artisan crafts, live music, dancing for everyone, and much more. FREE!
July 2–July 8
Big Splash 4th of July Week at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park-Camp Resort (Canyon Lake)—Happy birthday, America! Help celebrate our heritage big time with red, white, and blue crafts and a 4th of July bike and golf cart parade with Yogi Bear™, Cindy Bear™, and Boo Boo™! Enjoy karaoke, tie-dye, and everything else that is Jellystone Park™! Reservations required.
Tuesday, July 3
Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks, 6:00–10:00 P.M. at Helotes City Hall (Helotes)—Enjoy a live concert performed by the Helotes Area Community Band starting at 7:00 P.M. and the fireworks display starting at dusk. Arrive early for free hot dogs, apple pie, and ice cream (while supplies last). Free face painting, caricature artist, train rides, and a bouncy slide will be available. Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, bug spray, flashlights, and umbrellas to this outdoor event. FREE!
Wednesday, July 4
July 4th Extravaganza, 9:30 A.M.–3:30 P.M. at Comfort Community Park (Comfort)—Hill Country’s famous parade is at 10:00 A.M., starting at 9:30 A.M. with the kids ride through town. Then barbecue, games, live music throughout the day with a great dance floor, vendors, and live and silent auctions. One of the town’s favorite days of the year. FREE!
4th of July Festival & Fireworks Spectacular Celebration, 7:30 A.M.–10:30 P.M. at Raymond Rimkus Park (Leon Valley)—Food, drinks, music, soap box derby, activities at the pool, and carnival all day. Parade starts at 10:00 A.M. Fireworks begin at dusk. Absolutely no outside food, beverages, ice chests, or firearms allowed. FREE!
City of San Antonio 4th of July Celebration, 8:00 A.M.–9:30 P.M. at Woodlawn Lake Park—Families are invited to participate in a fun-filled day of games, food, and musical entertainment. Celebration will feature the always popular Firecracker Fit-Family Walk/Run around the lake, free Zumba sessions, carnival games and rides, face painters, and children’s activities and workshops. Live entertainment includes the U.S. Air Force Band of The West, and local Selena tribute act Bidi Bidi Banda, with more artists and performers to be announced. Stay until the end for the fireworks extravaganza. FREE!
43rd Annual 4th of July Jubilee, 9:00 A.M.–10:00 P.M. at Pickrell Park (Schertz)—Enjoy the Freedom 5K, parade, carnival, live music, fireworks, and much more. Watermelon-eating contest for kids ages 5 to 18. Grab tickets for the coolest seat in the house for just $3 (gets you into Pickrell Park Pool to enjoy the fireworks display). FREE!
Old Time 4th of July Parade & Patriotic Program, 9:15–11:00 A.M. at Main Plaza (New Braunfels)—Wear your most star-spangled attire and join the party with an old-fashioned parade followed by a short patriotic musical program provided by the New Braunfels Community Band. Parade kicks off at 9:15 A.M. FREE!
Independence Day Celebration, 9:00 A.M.–4:30 P.M. at the Alamo—All day the Alamo will have special living history demonstrations, photo opportunities with reenactors, firing demonstrations, free paletas, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, and a performance by Fort Sam’s Own 323d Army Band. FREE!
Biggest Small Town 4th of July Parade in Texas, 10:00 A.M. at Central Park (Seguin)—Crowds of flag-waving people will line Austin Street for the annual event. The exact year the event started is unknown, but each year this celebration gets bigger and better. There will be more than a hundred parade entries, including floats from local businesses, elected officials, churches, schools, military representatives, and more. FREE!
4th of July Parade & BBQ, 10:00 A.M.–1:00 P.M. at Great Northwest Community Improvement Association—Line up on Timber Path road to watch the parade. The parade starts at 10:00 A.M. from Zachry Middle School and ends at the Silver Creek Lodge (8809 Timberwilde Dr.). Stick around after the parade for a picnic pool party. Free hot dogs, chips, and lemonade served on a first come, first served basis. FREE!
Robert Earl Keen’s Fourth on the River, 2:00–10:00 P.M. at Louise Hays Park (Kerrville)—Live musical performances starting at 5:00 P.M. Robert Earl Keen performs at 8:00 P.M. Largest fireworks display in the Hill Country starts at 9:30 P.M. FREE!
Fireworks in the Park, 5:00–10:00 P.M. at Friendship Park (Kirby)—Fireworks, food, music, games, and more. FREE!
4th of July Fireworks, 5:30–10:00 P.M. at San Antonio Botanical Garden—An amazing view in a beautiful garden setting. Fireworks start at dusk. Picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs welcome! General admission applies. Members can secure their free tickets first and purchase additional tickets for friends and family between June 20–24.
SummerFest, 6:00–10:00 P.M. at San Marcos Plaza Park (San Marcos)—Celebration will feature live music, a children’s parade, a patriotic costume contest, food vendors, and a grand finale fireworks display. FREE!
Fourth of July Spectacular, 6:30–9:30 P.M. at Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs (New Braunfels)—Music concert at 6:30 P.M. Fireworks will launch from Landa Lake at 9:15 P.M. Seating will be available starting at 6:00 P.M. and only in designated areas. Fireworks viewers will not be allowed to sit on greens or putting areas. FREE!
Fourth of July Fireworks, 8:00 P.M. at Boerne City Park (Boerne)—Fireworks will start a little after dark. The fireworks can be viewed in many places around Boerne, but the best place is Boerne City Park. Bring chairs, picnics, and your American spirit. FREE!
Salute to America’s Heroes, all day at Morgan’s Wonderland—Military members, first responders, and their immediate families who present valid ID cards at the Welcome Center can obtain a special discounted admission of $9 per person. Individuals with special needs and children ages two and younger are always admitted free of charge. Free hot dogs and apple pie until 1:00 P.M. while supplies last.
Fireworks Spectacular at SeaWorld San Antonio–Witness a colorful fireworks display at Ski Lake. This stunning mix of pyrotechnics set to a triumphant musical score will begin at 9:45 P.M. all three days. Prior to the show, guests can enjoy live music and entertainment for all ages. Event is included with park admission.
