Amanda, Co-Owner

Amanda is a mama to #hurricaneVivi and wife to her college sweetheart, Francois. In addition to ACMB, she owns and runs a boutique photography studio with a focus on early child hood imagery.  She loves entertaining, crafting, DIYing, and making messes that involve glitter. Her favorite color is sparkle, believes that if it fits into the machine it needs to be monogrammed and she’s never met a croissant she didn’t love. You can follow along with Amanda’s life behind the lens over on her blog, ARG Photographs, and on her home and DIY blog, Handmade Mood.[divider_flat]

After 12 years of living everywhere from Colorado to Greece, London to Atlanta, she and her husband made San Antonio their home and have become parents to a daughter and son. Brooke loves finding undiscovered activities around the city and dragging her kids along! She is a runner, an amateur cook who loves trying out San Antonio’s growing culinary scene, and is actively involved in nonprofit organizations in San Antonio.[divider_flat]

Candice, Contributor and Celebrations Coordinator

Candice Curry is a born-and-raised San Antonio mother of five. She is Brandon’s wife of ten years, and together they are raising their babies to love the Lord, be kind, and give back. Stiles, age 16, is their oldest daughter. Myleigh, Justin, and Bella are their nine-year-old triplet girls, and late at night they rock their two-year-old baby boy, James. They just welcomed Candice’s teenage sister, Victoria, into their home as one of their own, bumping up their kid count to six. Candice recently traded in her career life to be a full-time stay-at-home mommy, and when she is not loving on her husband and babies she plans on writing and sharing her faith. When she grows up she wants to own an ice-cream truck and travel around Texas selling ice cream with her family. In 2011, Candice started her Women With Worth ministry, where she writes about anything and everything that is on her heart, and is in the process of writing her first book.  [divider_flat]

Erin, Sales Coordinator

Erin is a born and raised San Antonio native. She is a proud graduate of Southwestern University, St.Mary’s University and Texas Tech University. After 400 hundred years of graduate school and four degrees later, she married the love of her life and moved back to town. Together, they are attempting to raise three crazy, tiny humans (5, 3 and 4 months) who make life fun, happy and hard. Erin is a marriage and family therapist who now works harder as a stay-at-home mom which has lead to her new profession: professional coffee and wine drinker. She is a lover of all things involving food, music, sarcasm and people. And love. There must be lots of love.[divider_flat]

Heather, Community Resources Specialist

Heather was born and raised in San Antonio and became a mom in 2013 and again in 2018. She never imagined she’d be raising two sons but is grateful for the opportunity! Heather enjoys the outdoors and even mowing her own lawn. She and her husband Santiago look forward to raising two feminist boys who will hopefully be better at Spanish than she is. Her professional experience since graduating from Tufts University with a degree in Art History includes working for a variety of arts and cultural nonprofit organizations, from grassroots to governmental. She spent a few years as a stay at home parent and is easing her way back into the workforce. Her dream job would be to work for Sesame Workshop, or President of the United States. In the meantime, Heather enjoys filling her family’s weekends with the diversity San Antonio has to offer.[divider_flat]

Inga, Business Manager

Inga is passionate about helping parents take control of their children’s education, whether through finding the best schools for their children or exploring the wide range of enrichment activities in San Antonio. She was born in California but has called Texas home since high school. She is a lawyer and founded a nonprofit, San Antonio Charter Moms, that helps parents research school choices and become advocates for their children’s education. Her ten-year-old son, F.T., and seven-year-old daughter, G.N., attend a public charter school in the heart of the city. She married a techie and is a bit of a geek herself.

Jennelle, Director of Sales

Jennelle grew up in Katy, TX but found her way to San Antonio via Trinity University. She adores San Antonio and the life she and her husband have built here. Together they are raising two rambunctious boys as proper Alamo City natives which includes having an affinity for Tex-Mex and respectable Fiesta medal collections. The family unit is rounded out by their energetic border collie-lab mix, Oreo. When not honing her Lego skills or learning how to play Hotwheels, she’s active in various non-profit organizations and enjoys musical theater, outside dining, reading, and literally Netflixing & chilling.[divider_flat]

Jessica, Team Photographer

Jessica was born in Florida but also lived in the Midwest, on the East Coast, and in Los Angeles, before finally moving to San Antonio two years ago. She was in the last semester of a graduate program in English Literature when she found out she was pregnant with her first daughter. (Which means, gentle reader, she finished her studies with neither coffee nor wine! Be amazed!) This last September, she and her husband, a San Antonio native, welcomed their second daughter. In her previous lives, Jessica has been a college professor, an actor, and a restaurant manager. She feels incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to stay at home with her girls right now while they are young. She is currently in the early stages of turning her obsession with taking pictures of her own children into a modest photography venture, Mewborne Photography.[divider_flat]

Michelle, Partnership Coordinator

Michelle has lived in San Antonio since 2009.  She grew up in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and graduated from Texas A&M.  After two years in North Carolina and six years in Minnesota, she returned to Texas. Michelle has two kids and a very high maintenance rescue dog. She is a former corporate food scientist turned yoga instructor and ACMB team member. She still takes her food very seriously—she just doesn’t get paid for it anymore. When she’s not cooking, practicing yoga, mothering, or cleaning, you’ll find her curled up with a cup of hot tea and a book. [divider_flat]

Michelle, Sales Coordinator

Michelle spent the first 10 years of her life moving around with her military family. She has lived everywhere from Washington to Guam, New Jersey to Turkey, then finally settled down in Texas. She moved to San Antonio in 2005 after graduating with a Marketing degree from Texas State University.  Michelle is raising two beautiful boys with her husband of 10 years. She is actively involved in PTA and other nonprofit organizations in San Antonio.[divider_flat]

Taylor, Copy Editor

Taylor is a San Antonio native and stay-at-home mom to two daughters: eight-year-old Harper and one-year-old Hayes. She and her Okie husband, Jeff, have been married 12 years despite their Texas/OU rivalry. Taylor is a former Clark Cougar, a devout Texas Longhorn, where she studied English, an active MOPS member, and often feels like a professional juggler. She relishes trips to the theater, loves embarking on new adventures with her family, and admittedly spends too much time on Facebook. A former contributor, Taylor’s posts center on parenting her tenacious, strong-willed first-born and the challenges she faced along the way to becoming a mom of two. She now serves as ACMB’s editor and resident proofreader, and as such, cares way too deeply about the use of Oxford commas.

Tori, Graphic Designer and Events Director

Tori is originally from Florida, but has traveled across the United States with her husband, Jeremy, for the past 10 years. She recently moved from Los Angeles to San Antonio two years ago and has been enjoying exploring the City. She is a mom of two boys, Brendan (7) and Ryan (4). She graduated from University of Central Florida with her B.A. in Psychology and taught second grade until her oldest was born.  She launched her craft blog, Tori Grant Designs, back in 2012.  Her creative projects have been featured on websites such as GoodHousekeeping.com, HouseBeautiful.com, and CountryLiving.com. She has been a design contributor for such companies like Silhouette America and Crafts Unleashed. Her blog has opened the door for one of her true passions, graphic design. She currently owns her own design company where she works with fellow bloggers and small businesses creating brand identities. In her spare time she loves photography, watercolor, attempting Pilates and beating all the men in her household in video games.
